A healing environment

If you need to stay in one of our hospitals, our goal is for you to heal quickly so you can return home as soon as you can. At our Vacaville and Vallejo Medical Centers, we’ve started some programs to encourage peace and quiet and support your healing process.

  • Shhh! Our Silent Hospitals Help Healing is a campaign to create a quiet environment at our hospitals. Just like the calm of a library, we want everyone at our hospitals—from health care workers to patients—to speak in softer voices. You may have noticed some of the posters reminding everyone to speak softly. Our staff is trained to provide you with high-quality care and to respect your peace and quiet.
  • C.A.R.E. Channel is now available on the televisions in patient rooms at our Vacaville and Vallejo Medical Centers. The C.A.R.E. Channel offers our patients a respite from commercial television, noise, and other stressful distractions by combining beautiful nature images with soothing instrumental music.
