Educational Theatre Programs

Our Educational Theatre Programs (ETP) use the excitement of live theatre, music, and comedy to deliver powerful prevention messages about alcohol, tobacco, obesity, violence, and sexually transmitted diseases. Last year, these research-backed, evidence-based productions reached 539,344 students K-12 in 1,883 schools.

This segment on KGO’s The View from the Bay tackles childhood obesity and what parents can do to prevent it. Kaiser Permanente staff members sit down with the show’s hosts for a revealing interview that outlines the severity of the problem and how we’re helping parents fight it.
