- taught more than 8,200 kids to swim in Los Angeles community pools
- built 17 miles of bike trails in Colorado
- provided full health care coverage to 300 nursing students
- covered the cost of care for 273,000 Medical, Medicaid, and State Children's Health Insurance Program members
- published more than 685 medical research papers
- used live drama, comedy, and music to teach 539,000 students to make smart choices about food, exercise, and sexuality
