Region Overview

Our goal is better health—not just for our members, but for everyone who lives and works in our community. Through partnerships with community groups, schools, and government organizations, we work to improve access to health care, influence public policy, and develop programs that promote healthy living. In recent years, Kaiser Permanente Northwest contributed more than $30 million to the community. For example, we granted $250,000 to the Southwest Washington Medical Center Foundation, and $450,000 to Central City Concern, which focuses on the health care needs of the uninsured and under-insured population.
