In addition to providing health care and coverage for low-income people, Kaiser Permanente's community investments include grants, sponsorships, and volunteerism.
The Sacramento North Valley area serves the Sacramento area north of Highway 50 and Rancho Cordova, eastern Yolo County, southern Placer County and western El Dorado County.
Through an in-depth community needs assessment conducted in 2010, we identified health priorities, health disparities, and barriers to health care for vuulnerable and underserved populations. The findings from this study are used to guide our contributions to the community.
