East Bay
In addition to providing health care and coverage for low-income people, Kaiser Permanente's community investments include grants, sponsorships, and volunteerism.
The East Bay service area serves cities located in West Contra Costa County and Northern Alameda County.
Grants
Our grantmaking supports projects addressing:
- Prevention of community violence
- Prevention of obesity and overweight
- Improvements in perinatal health
- Access to care and coverage with a focus on HIV prevention
- Asthma management

Sponsorships
We sponsor events that are:
- Community based events and activities, such as health fairs, dinners, health education forums, conferences/symposiums
We are accepting sponsorship applications on an ongoing basis through October 2012. Please submit our sponsorship application along with the required attachments 45 days prior to the event date.
