Annual Report

Imagine a world where everyone is healthy.

What does it take to create and sustain healthy communities?

Community residents and organizations collaborating to create safe routes for kids to walk or ride their bikes to school; access to healthy foods and local produce; a medical home for those without health insurance; educational opportunities for professionals providing care to those in need. It takes all this, and more.

At Kaiser Permanente, we know good health extends beyond our doors. Our mission is to provide high-quality, affordable health care services to improve the health of our members and the communities we serve. As you page through our 2008 Community Benefit Report, we invite you to imagine what a healthy world would look like, and to be inspired to create health in your own environment.
